When the next president of the United States is sworn into office in January 2017, there is a chance that he or she will be getting a sweet new ride to go along with his or her newfound responsibilities as leader of the free world. The Department of Homeland Security has released a proposal to solicit bids from major domestic automobile manufacturers to build the next presidential state car. Although President Barack Obama’s current limo, a custom-made vehicle by General Motors and christened a Cadillac, has been dubbed “The Beast”, the model still possesses flaws that could be taken advantage of should anyone decide to plan an attack on the president. While we await for the design makeover to hit the news, let us take a look at The Beast and see how it could be made better.
President Obama owns a small collection (12) of this massive Cadillac. Each of these cars, in its own highly classified motor pool, is valued at over $1 million. Each car travels with their own mechanic, an armed federal agent who carries a vast aresenal of electronic diagnostic devices and tools.
